Jan van Dijk awarded Stockholm Prize in Criminology

The 2012 Stockholm Prize in Criminology has been awarded to Professor Jan van Dijk of the University of Tilburg, The Netherlands, for his sustained leadership of the International Crime Victims Survey (ICVS) since 1989.

Jan van Dijk will receive the Prize on June 12, 2012 in a ceremony at the Chinese Theatre in central Stockholm. The award is as usual presented in conjunction with the Stockholm Criminology Symposium.
